MISSION STATEMENT
Abraham Lincoln Elementary School will prepare children for the challenges of the present and the future, and promote and develop self-respect and respect for others, and the world around them. All children will be taught in an environment that respects their needs and differences. To this end, the school will:
* Promote a high level of security and self-confidence in each child in an atmosphere of care and concern
* Actively involve the students in their own education, promoting a sense of personal responsibility, love of learning, and the realization that education is a life-long process
* Assure that students, to the maximum extent possible, are provided with a common learning experience of high academic quality, prepared to live in a technological society
