LOCAL MERCHANT DONATES TRUCK TO MISSION
1990 Chevy Pickup to be Raffled with all proceeds going to Gospel Rescue Mission
Todd and Tina Gotchall, owners of the Powderhorn Café, turned over the keys to their Custom, one-of-a-kind 1990 Chevy Dually Pickup to the Mission. The pickup wasn’t being used by the Gotchalls, and rather than selling it, they decided to donate it to the Mission. “The truck just needs some body-work and a paint job, but the engine is prime,” comments vehicle owner Todd Gotchall. “It’s a newer 454 Big Block and its got lots of power.” The truck was given a free inspection by Dave Kelly and the crew at Kelly’s Automotive at the Tool Box and a report of their findings will be available upon request.
“The best way for us to gain as much income from the generous gift is to raffle off this fantastic truck” remarked Keith Heck, the Mission’s Executive Director. Tickets are now on sale at $10.00 each or 6 for $50.00, in a variety of locations in Grants Pass. Heck added, “We will have ticket tables set up throughout the summer, at various community locations and events and I have the privilege of driving this monster around town to such events!”
The drawing will be held at the Powderhorn Café on October 1st, 2009. For further details contact Keith Heck at the Gospel Rescue Mission at 476-0082.
